The Club has the following aims:
1. responsibility for maintenance and care of the breeds which are represented by the Club;
2. to promote the interest in, - the keeping of, - and the breeding of quality pure-bred dogs of the breeds in the Club;
3. to take all necessary steps and decisions which promote the general welfare of the relevant breeds.
The Club attempts to achieve these aims by:
1. giving information regarding the purchase and the keeping of the relevant breeds and general information about breeding of the said breeds;
2. holding and supporting Clubmatches and Shows;
3. holding regular meetings;
4. giving lessons, demonstrations and lectures;
5. encouragement of registration of both complete litters and individual dogs of the relevant breeds in the Dutch Kennel Club Pedigree Book (N.H.S.B.);
6. encouragement of registration of kennel names with the Dutch Kennel Club;
7. offer assistance in the creation and maintenance of a well-trained corps of Judges;
8. to take all necessary legal and valid steps to achieve the aims stated, so long as they are not against the Rules and Regulations of the Dutch Kennel Club.
